On August 17, 2026, CubeArena’s cubing community came together for a special evening at Legend Cinema Olympia, combining speedcubing, friendship, entertainment, and a shared movie experience.
Invited by Legend Cinema, CubeArena brought together around 30 cubers for an activity designed to give the community something different from a traditional competition.
It was not only about solving cubes faster. It was about meeting, playing, sharing, and enjoying the cubing community together.
Cubing Before the Movie
Before the movie screening began, participants gathered at Legend Cinema Olympia for a CubeArena mini cubing session.
Cubers had the opportunity to:

Spend time with CubeArena community members and KOLs
The atmosphere was more relaxed than a formal competition, giving everyone the chance to enjoy cubing without the pressure of rankings.
For some participants, it was also another opportunity to meet cubers they had previously only seen online or during competitions.
More Than Just a Cube Competition
CubeArena believes that growing speedcubing in Cambodia is not only about organizing tournaments.
A strong cubing community also needs opportunities for people to meet, make friends, learn from each other, create memories and simply have fun together.
Collaborations like CubeArena x Legend Cinema allow cubers to experience activities outside the normal competition environment while still staying connected through their shared passion for cubing.
This is an important part of building a larger and more active cubing community in Cambodia.
Movie Night at Legend Cinema
After the cubing activities, participants continued the evening with a movie screening at Legend Cinema Olympia.
The featured movie was:
ម៉ាក់យាយអច្ឆរិយៈ – It’s My Time
The screening began at approximately 7:00 PM, giving everyone a chance to relax together after the cube activities.
Seeing a group of cubers move from solving cubes together to watching a movie together made the event feel less like a formal program and more like a community gathering.
A Different Experience for Our Cubers
Most CubeArena activities naturally focus on speedcubing competitions, practice sessions, rankings and products.
This collaboration gave us an opportunity to create something different.
Instead of asking only:
“How fast can you solve?”
we also want our community to experience:
“Who can you meet through cubing?”
“What memories can we create together?”
“Where can cubing take our community next?”
That wider community experience is something CubeArena wants to continue developing.

We sincerely appreciate Legend Cinema for inviting CubeArena and providing this opportunity for our cubing community.
Collaborations between community organizations and established brands can introduce speedcubing to new audiences while giving existing cubers more reasons to stay connected and active.
For CubeArena, this event was another small step toward making cubing more visible, social and exciting in Cambodia.
